What is the attire or dress code for the wedding?

Answer

In keeping with the celebratory nature of the occasion, we invite you to join us in cocktail attire. We kindly ask you to refrain from jeans and khakis. Think stylish, sophisticated, and a touch of fun! We can't wait to see you all dressed to impress as we celebrate this special day together!

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please RSVP by June 1, 2026. You can do this by clicking on the RSVP tab on this website. It helps us ensure we have enough seating and food for everyone!

Can I bring a guest or children?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but we can only accommodate those specifically named on the RSVP. All are welcome to the dance. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for understanding!

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Black Leg Ranch, located at 24750 62nd Ave SE McKenzie, ND 58572. We’re excited to share this special place with you!

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm on August 15, 2026. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to get settled and enjoy the atmosphere.

Is there a hotel nearby?

Answer

Yes, there are several hotels in the area. We’ve partnered with Courtyard by Marriott Bismarck North for discounted rates. You can find more information about booking a room on our Travel page.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary shuttles will be available for our guests. Hotel to Venue: Shuttles will depart from the hotel at 3:15 PM, and 3:45 PM. Return to Hotel: Return shuttles will begin at 10:00 PM and run continuously until 2:00 AM, with the first shuttle departing at 10:00 PM. Please be sure to select shuttle usage on your RSVP so we can ensure enough transportation is available for everyone.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since our wedding is outdoor/indoor, we are planning for sunny conditions in the ceremony and reception inside. Please check the weather forecast closer to the day, and dress accordingly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we’ve hired a professional photographer. Feel free to snap away during the reception!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available at Black Leg Ranch. We will have a complimentary shuttle for our guests on the wedding day.
