Megan and Jonas grew up living close to one another, unknowingly sharing the same town and crossing paths for years before their story truly began. It wasn’t until Megan accepted a position at the Homestead Inn—offered by the owner from her church—that fate quietly stepped in. When Megan first started, Jonas was away on his annual two-week beach trip, a tradition he would one day share with her. Once he returned, their easy conversations at work slowly grew into something more. They began talking outside of work and quickly discovered how much they had in common. Megan learned how to fish (with varying success) because Jonas loved it, and Jonas attended countless school musical productions because Megan was a part of them. Over time, friendship turned into love. In the summer of 2019, Megan and Jonas went on their first date—and from that moment on, the rest was history.
