Our Love Story

March 11,2018 the day we met

My mom always told me when I least expect it Ill meet the one God made for me and she was right (as always lol) I was on lunch at work I was a preschool teacher we had a meeting that Sunday and I went to the store with a friend and that's when I noticed Forrest he smiled at me and said "Hey darlin whats your name? how are you?" I was stuck all I could do was look into his big blue eye and smile :Im Megan sweetie im doing well Im on lunch from work how are you? whats your name?" He just smiled "Im Forrest Kirby but everyone calls me Kirby." We exchanged numbers and made plans to hangout that night, the rest of the day all I could think of was him I thought I was crazy but the thought of seeing him that night made me smile. We had planned on getting together around 8 that night but he got lost he couldn't find my house but at 9pm he finally showed up and again all I could see is those big blue eyes, we went to the lake and just talked for hours about everything I learned he was an only child and his mom Emily was dying of cancer it was like we knew each other our whole lives we were that comfortable with each other in the middle of us talking he looked at me smiled grabbed my face and kissed me it was like something out of the movies I laughed and smiled said "Well that's one way to shut me up lol" he said "Ive been wanting to kiss you since I first seen you and your beautiful green eyes." I didn't want the night to end but I had to be at work early the next day and he had to go take care of his mom we texted and talked the whole time he drove home to franklin and we made plans to see each other soon. The next morning I wake up to a "Good morning beautiful I hope you slept well" and we texted and talked ever time I got a chance and even seen each other that night and even the next day we would go to the lake and just talk about everything and on March 13,2018 he asked me if I would please be his and by his he said he meant his girlfriend I couldn't have been happier!

Always there

Good times and Bad

We have had a lot happen in our relationship on March 24,2018 his mom Mrs Emily Kirby lost her battle with cancer he to this day thanks me for always being there for him when he says was the lowest hes ever been and on May 20,2018 the family member I was living with hated Forrest so much and the fact we spent all the time we could together kicked me out took my money and either sold gave away or tossed my thing in the trash I lost everything but Forrest told me "You have a home and its with me don't worry about your stuff Ill replace it" and he did he not only spoils me but my family as well I lost my sweet Nanny Margaret Smith on March 28,2019 and Forrest has never left my side but as always been there for me and the last time I seen my Nanny she asked him "Youre going to take care of my baby right?' "Yes ma'am I will try" she said "Don't try you better do if not a double barrel shot gun will be coming after you and I love you too," at her funeral my mom and I told my Uncle Todd what she said he smiled and hugged Forrest said "well welcome to the family!" we all laughed. Now we have a new home planning our forever away from the drama and people who didn't want us together no matter their reason and on June 13,2020 I get to marry my best friend the love of my life my soulmate the one God made for me. I couldn't be happier or imagine my life without this wonderful man that makes me think of my Dad and fall more in love with him everyday God truly blessed us with each other Im ready to start this new chapter of my life with him!
