What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please wear whatever you are comfortable in!

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but we have decided our wedding will be adults only. Thanks for understanding!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

If the weather is good, the ceremony will be outside on the grass. Cocktail hour will be on a patio, and the reception will be under a tent. If it's rainy, the entire event will be under the tent.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally named on your wedding invitation.

Is any transportation provided?

Answer

We have not arranged transportation for guests staying in different hotels in Sturbridge. The Hampton Inn is about a 10 minute walk from the venue, and the Comfort Inn is a 3 minute drive.

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your kids, we have decided this is an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!

I've arrived at the Publick House day-of, where do I go now?

Answer

Drive straight down the long driveway into a large parking lot. Our ceremony is located at the gazebo, with reception to follow in the tent. You will be able to see the tent from the parking lot, somewhat surrounded by bushes. Walk towards the tent and the gazebo will be visible. If you're going up a big hill, you're going the wrong way (there are multiple ceremony sites!) Inside the Bake Shoppe/outside of Ebenezer's Restaurant, there should be a sign.
