How can I share my wedding weekend memories with you?

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday’s welcome party is City Casual. Jeans are fine and no tie or jacket required. Saturday’s party is Cocktail Attire. This could include short or long dresses, snazzy jumpsuits, elegant separates, or suits/sport coats with ties. As you dress to impress, come prepared for a night of dancing!

Is there transportation to and from weekend events?

Answer

We are not providing group transportation to any wedding events. In addition to cabs and ride services, public transportation information can be viewable on Google or Apple Maps transit options or by visiting the MTA website here: https://new.mta.info

When should I arrive on Saturday?

Answer

The party at Elsie Rooftop begins at 6pm. Please buffer at least 15 minutes walking or by cab to arrive from the Hard Rock Hotel.

When is the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll be doing a private ceremony on Friday followed by a luncheon with close family and friends. While there will be a wedding atmosphere and programming as part of our Saturday party, there will be no formal ceremony.

Will there be a gift table?

Answer

No, we will not have space to receive gifts at any weekend events. We will have a box for cards at Elsie Rooftop.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, all events are for adults only.

What if I have an allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Most event food will be passed, served family style, or available via food stations. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when submitting your RSVP so we can alert the venues and menu plan accordingly. We’ll make every effort to accommodate dietary needs and try to alert you of any issues or concerns in advance. Please also notify your servers of these requirements on-site to ensure ample care is taken to meet your needs. Thanks in advance for your flexibility and understanding.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Where to stay is flexible - as all events will be in Manhattan with plenty of public transit, walking, and cab/ride-share options to get around. The Hard Rock is our primary hotel block and the most central to Friday and Saturday events. The Loews is a more upscale option, while the Ace is a smaller and more boutique hotel slightly removed from midtown. The Hard Rock and Loews blocks include Thursday arrival options for those traveling in early for Friday events. The Ace is not a formal room block. Please note, there is a separate Hard Rock Cafe in the Times Square area so please make sure to double check you are routing yourself to the Hard Rock Hotel (one of us may have made that mistake and it wasn’t Dan!).
