Now a days everyone is turning to the internet to find their significant others, but we actually met at work. One day Jon invited me to join him and some other co-workers for a few drinks. Me being the introvert I am didn't want to go out by myself but all of my friends were busy. I almost decided not to go at all but Mema told me if I didn't then I wouldn't get invited out again. So I gathered up all my courage and I made my way out to meet up with everyone. Well it turned out that my friends weren't the only ones busy that night, and none of our other co-workers were able to make it out either. It was that night that we realized how much we actually had in common, or in other words I won him over with my nerd knowledge. A few months later we rang in the new year together and officially started dating on New Years Day 2016. It's been mutual nerd weirdness ever since and we wouldn't have it any other way!
