Amtrak trains can be taken to the Norfolk station at Harbor Park via the Northeast Regional line. The station is a 25-30 minute drive away from the hotels at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. The Newport News station is also an option, and it is about 45 minutes away from the hotels.
Travel Note
Driving
The area is easily accessible via multiple interstates if you prefer to drive. The drive is about 3.5 hours from the DC area. Any route into the area requires passing through one or more tunnels which sometimes have traffic so be sure to plan accordingly!
