Our proposal story was an unforgettable adventure that took us to Lake Tahoe, California. Making the trip for Meg’s golden Birthday as she was turning 22 on January 22nd, we celebrated with her sister Jensen, brother-in-law Bryce, brother Jake, sister-in-law Rachel, and brother-in-law Patrick. We had an incredible Airbnb right on the shores of Lake Tahoe, and the first days were filled with thrilling skiing at North Star ski resort. However, the real magic happened on Sunday, January 22nd, her special day. Gabe had a surprise in store for Meg. He convinced her to put on her dinner outfit early in the morning right at sunrise for a birthday photo by the lake. Little did she know that this moment was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in their lives. Only Jake and Bryce knew about Gabe's plan to propose at sunrise by the lake, and Bryce even dreamt of the proposal the night before. Thankfully, he was in on the secret and captured the magical moment on video, while Jensen took stunning pictures. Against the backdrop of the breathtaking beautiful Lake Tahoe at sunrise, it felt like God had painted the sky just for us and this special occasion. The day was spent celebrating on the slopes, and we know that Lake Tahoe will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It was a proposal and trip that we will cherish forever!
