Portland Jetport (PWM): 10 minute drive to downtown Portland Manchester, NH (MHT): 1 hour and 30 minute drive to downtown Portland Boston Logan (BOS): 1 hour and 45 minute drive to downtown Portland Bangor (BGR): 2 hour drive to downtown Portland Bangor could be a good option for those looking to explore other parts of Maine before or after the wedding.

Peak's Island Ferry

The Peaks Island Ferry runs approximately every hour from downtown Portland to Peaks Island and back. The ride itself is 17 minutes long. The fare is $8 round-trip for an adult. Please find the ferry schedule at the URL below: https://www.cascobaylines.com/schedules/peaks-island-schedule/fall/ The ferry departing Portland at 3:15pm will be the latest you can take before the ceremony. You may wish to take an earlier ferry and explore Peaks Island before the ceremony. Ferries will depart Peaks Island at 8:45pm, 9:45pm, 10:55pm, and 11:55pm. If you do not make the 11:55, you're sleeping on the island! The ferry terminal is conveniently located in downtown Portland. Click the link labeled "View" below to see the location in Google Maps.

As you may have already noticed, hotel prices in Portland tend to be high. We recommend booking Airbnb or VRBO, especially with a group if you can. Portland is an extremely walkable city. If you are booking an Airbnb or VRBO, consider the walking distance to the Ferry Terminal. This is where you will be picked up and dropped off to get to Peaks Island.
