We met living in the same dorm in college, Andrew lived on the second floor and Meaghan lived on the fifth floor. We bonded playing Words with Friends together over winter break, and soon to be seven years down the line we are now proud parents of two cats, own a beautiful home together and continue to enjoy playing games and doing puzzles together.
Just after landing in Nashville for a trip for Meaghan’s birthday we headed into town to grab some lunch. Andrew suggested (insisted) that we take a walk across the pedestrian foot bridge to check out the view. About half way across the bridge we stopped to ask a family walking by if they would take our picture. Andrew handed Meaghan a birthday card to read while the photos were snapping (a little weird but she didn't think much of it) She looked up from the card to find Andrew on one knee with a ring that he'd had hidden in the camera case all along. She said yes and they celebrated with some rooftop drinks overlooking the city.
We said our vows on the lawn at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum on our original wedding date with a small group of family and friends present. The Museum is located on the Larz Anderson Estate, a scenic park in Meaghan's home town, Brookline, MA. The park has always been a dream wedding location for Meaghan and the historic car museum makes it the perfect match for us! The only thing missing was our family and friends that could mot join us!
We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with a reception and first anniversary party. Our reception will take place as originally planned at Larz Anderson, just a year late! We can’t wait to finally celebrate with all of our loved ones!
