As fate would have it, both Adam and Kelly bought their own homes in the SoCal Mountains in the Spring of 2017. Kelly, recently left a fast-paced career in Los Angeles in search of a more balanced life and moved up to a small mountain community where she shares her most cherished childhood memories at her Grandparent's lakehouse. Kelly, was adjusting to the simple and single life with her rescue pup Lily, restoring her cabin, and innocently enough was out on the town "third-wheeling" it with her girlfriend, Lauren, and soon to be husband, Kory. Adam, having just relocated from a very social life in Key West, with his rescue pup Ziggy, was also enjoying his freedom in a new location. His good buddy Peter (who will, unfortunately, be deployed in Afghanistan during the wedding) came to visit a few short months after his move to CA; upon his late arrival, he insisted on going to the local village, getting some pizza, and having a "couple" beers at the local taproom vs. catching up on sleep, (oh youth). Adam and Peter arrived at the infamous Lakefront Taproom in Lake Arrowhead, focused on finding open seats. Adam spotted an open bar stool conveniently located right next to Kelly's group. He approached the scene requesting to take the stool back to Peter when Kelly's friend, Lauren, being the amazing wing-woman that she is (or just wanting to score a free drink), suggested that he join and buy the group a round, in exchange for the stool. Being a social butterfly, Adam of course obliged and had Peter join the group... the rest is history. Kelly fell in love with Adam's sexy smile, big heart, contagious enthusiasm for life and thirst for adventure. Adam fell in love with Kelly's spontaneity, passion for traveling, and genuine care for those around her. We can't wait to take an epic trip with our favorite people, and since it was the mountains that brought us together we thought that Montana would be a magical and memorable wedding for all!

After a year and a half into our relationship, we decided to see if a baby was in the cards, and just as quickly as we decided, we were pregnant! Adam didn't want to propose just because of the news, so he patiently waited until Kelly's 35th birthday in June to surprise her with a very special trip to Catalina Island where he planned to pop the question. Kelly was about six months pregnant and starting to show, but luckily she still was feeling great and up for an adventure per usual. Waking up early for a game of golf, Adam clearly not nervous at all but was having his best golf game E V E R, and on the 7th hole Adam got down on one knee at the greens. Kelly, either extremely tired from the early tee time or hormones from the pregnancy was beyond shocked, so much so that she was able to make a very confident Adam become suddenly extremely nervous as she looked down with a confused look on her face, hand on her hips and stated, "Are we really doing this right now!?" Kelly quickly recovered, said yes right away and Adam continued his best round of golf to date (and beating Kelly for the first time :)
