*Most of the hotels charge a resort fee, in addition to the daily cost. Fees can range around $30 for downtown hotels up to $45-$50 for Strip resorts *Most Strip hotels also charge daily for parking. This can be around $18 a day *If you notice that the hotel rate has changed after you booked, and you booked through the hotel, you can contact them to see if they will price match *We will be staying at The California hotel down by Fremont Street ( Downtown)
*Mostly all Strip resorts have pools. Some resorts that are known for their pools are Bellagio, Wynn, Caesars, and Mandalay Bay *Only a few of the downtown hotels have pools (about 4 hotels). Circa is a downtown hotel known for it's huge pool called Stadium Swim. Note that this is a 21 and older property
*Las Vegas has Uber, Lyft, taxis, or the airport's car rental agencies *Uber/Lyft and taxis can only pick up and drop off at specific locations at each resort. While on the Strip, they will not stop for you on the street *Average distance from the airport to the Strip is about 15-20 minutes *Average distance from the airport to Fremont Street (Downtown) is about 20-25 minutes *Some Strip hotels/resorts have walkways inside to other properties *There is a free tram from Park MGM to the Bellagio. It also stops at the shops at Aria *There is a monorail that you can buy a ticket for that will go the length of the one side of the Strip ( MGM Grand, Horseshoe, etc.) *The Deuce is a public bus (passes required) that can take you along the Strip and to Fremont Street (Downtown). Depending on where you are going, it could take some time to get to your location. We have never tried it personally but would not recommend if you have to get somewhere quickly *There are designated bridges and crosswalks to cross the street on the Strip. These are the safest ways to cross the street due to the traffic *When walking the Strip, wear comfortable shoes! Everything is further than it appears and it's best to wear comfortable footwear
*Average temperature in September can range from 75-91 degrees *Some people make a living on the Strip by getting people to buy things. Please do not accept beads, jewelry, having your picture taken, etc. Even though it might seem free, they will expect money *Most Strip hotels do not have a personal fridge, while those that do have a fridge don't often provide a lot of space. They tend to stock the fridges with drinks and alcohol. These are on a sensor and if the weight on the shelf changes then you will be charged. Please do not touch these items if you do not plan on purchasing them *The same can be applied to the snack tray that most Strip hotels have in the rooms *There are convenience stores (ABC, CVS, Walgreens) where snack and drink options will be more affordable than in the hotel *A portion of the Fremont (Downtown) hotel towers are under the Fremont Street Experience. Noise levels vary by hotel and tower, with some areas staying loud until early morning. Consider this when booking Downtown, and bring earplugs if needed. The California, Main Street Station, The Downtown Grand, The Plaza, and El Cortez are some Downtown properties that are not under the Fremont Street Experience

For example: -MGM Slots Live -myVEGAS *There are some Boyd properties, mainly in Downtown Las Vegas. The Valley Forge Casino is also a Boyd property. If you get a player's card at the Valley Forge Casino and play a little, you may be given comps or discounts for their Las Vegas properties
