For ease and convenience, we recommend staying at the Francis Marion Hotel, located right on King Street. We have a limited number of rooms reserved. For guests booked under the Ackershoek-Bonadies room block transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony. The hotel is also walking distance to the William Aiken House, where the reception will be held.

Another great downtown option is the Hyatt House Charleston / Historic District, conveniently located walking distance of the reception. If you plan to drive or rent a car and prefer to stay outside the city, we recommend Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina or Hotel Indigo, both located in Mount Pleasant, SC and just a quick Uber ride to downtown. If you’re staying in Mount Pleasant, please note that parking in downtown Charleston can be limited- we recommend using Uber for a quick and easy trip to the venue.
