Will The Ceremony and Reception be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

While some of our reception will be held indoors, it is a mostly outdoor ceremony and reception.

What Will The Weather Be Like This Time Of Year?

Answer

Kentucky weather is extremely unpredictable. Average temperature may be between 75-85 degrees, rarely falling below 65. As we get closer to our wedding date, we will update.

Does Your Wedding Have a Theme?

Our color scheme is gem (dark teal), sienna orange, and marigold yellow.

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The attire is casual. Women: Dress, skirt, or cute blouse. It's hard to say no to a good pair of heels, but keep in mind there is a gravel parking lot and driveway, and the ceremony will be outside in grass. Men: Nice pants and a button down shirt or polo.

Are Kids Welcomed?

YES - of course! Please let us know in advance if you are bringing your kids with you. There is a small play area open for them at the venue.

Can I Bring a Date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget; therefore our wedding is RSVP only.

Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?

Answer

YES PLEASE! We encourage our guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #MeetTheWashers so we can keep track of all the photos!
