When looking for words to describe the love story of Kenneth and Chloe, one thinks of true love, innocence, commitment, and destiny. Chloe and Kenny met when they were both in a Youth group in middle school. Their draw to one another began with a missions trip to Guatemala where their love for the Lord and innocent feelings for one another began to blossom. Little did we know at the time, but Kenny’s heart had already begun to see Chloe as someone special. Years passed and Chloe moved to Gainesville with her family, and even though life continued to move them forward, they kept in touch. Towards the end of high school their conversations eventually moved from friendly talks, to feelings of the potential for a relationship. Kenny would FaceTime Chloe every day and they would pray together, they would meet monthly for dates, but they waited on God’s timing to officially announce that they were a couple until after a year of praying and spending time together. Five years of adventures together, and a bond that can only be described as fun, quirky, and full of love; Chloe and Kenny have a relationship out of a storybook. Their love for one another and commitment is apparent in their everyday life.

Shortly after they celebrated their five year anniversary, the couple visited Chloe’s parents where Kenny sat them down and asked for their blessing on their future marriage. Kenny knew all those years ago that Chloe was going to be his wife, and finally the day came when he was going to officially ask her. Kenny planned a secret photoshoot and had his friend wait in bushes for the big moment. Under the ruse of going to Brunch with their friends, Kenny brought Chloe to a secluded lake with a gorgeous boardwalk to ask her the question that would begin the rest of their lives. When they were alone and in the middle of the boardwalk Kenny began to get down on one knee and proceeded to tell Chloe, “You ready for this? It’s happening.” He then spoke the four words Chloe will never forget, “Will you marry me?” Being overwhelmed with joy and tears filling her eyes, Chloe said yes. For those of you who are well acquainted with the bride and groom, you know that they have a special friendship that is full of inside jokes, nicknames, and nuances that the rest of us will just never understand, but this is what sets them apart. They get one another. God created them both perfectly to reflect and balance the other. Their love story is as endless as time itself and will continue to be told as they commit their lives to one another in October 2020.
