Meet our friends and family that have shared their love upon us through our journey as well as support us on our big day and beyond!

Akeem Addy

Groomsman

Strength - An elegant showcase of vigor and righteousness, we met in high school. Now, we rocks the sticks.

Kiesha Harper Bella

Maid of Honor

Kiesha will always be my Tail End Charlie, whether we were micro-comb singing, strutting in mom's size 10 shoes or seeking vengeance. Kiesha's level of wisdom and ability to press the right buttons has allowed me to be a more insightful woman. I am so grateful for her ability to see me and know what's up. There is no better love than sisterly love and having her by my side means everything to me!

Tawaan Guice

Groomsman

Wisdom - A refreshingly unassuming soul with a charismatic approach to charm, we met on the block. Now, we swags the swag.

Tanisha Jones

Maid of Honor

It was 14 years ago, this song bird and I met during Johnnies transfer day. I was wearing a skirt that should have been burned and she was walking around with an outdated flip phone . If anyone would have observed our banter they would have suspected we knew each other, if that wasn't evidence of a friendship in the making then it would prove time and time again through our chapters of growth. We have had consistent moments of festivity, evoking life choices, familial love and late night talks. This day would have been impossible without this cupid in disguise who introduced me to my love!

Dakai Pouncey

Groomsman

embodiment - A warm and fuzzy concoction of all things celestial, we met in junior high school. Now we toast to the toast.

Evelyn Jones-Catabois

Matron of Honor

Evie has been present through many chapters of my life journey. We shared track meets, afternoon gaming, early morning tutoring and chatty sleep-overs. She has been supportive and has allowed me to strive toward my better self. I cannot imagine moving forward without this rock!

Mitchelet Daniel

Groomsman

free spirit - A polarizing proponent of the here and now, we met on the block. Now we milly rock on any block.

Nija Clarke

Bridesmaid

She's my little bunny that I could not imagine my days without. From her training pampers to her beginning experiences in college, Nija continues to be the old soul trapped in a young body that serves me shade, giggles and perspective. So excited that I get to have my sweet cheeks by my side!

Terence Smith

Groomsman

Radiant - A graceful reminder of balance and composure, we meet in bagatelle. Now we reminisce to foreshadow.

Rochelle Dorset

Bridesmaid

We met through mutual friends when hanging out at Johnnies or swinging into a club. Little did we know our acquaintanceship of fun times, would lead to a true friendship. Ro sweet demeanor finds a way of buttering me up and letting me hear constructive feedback with love and support. And how could I resist her sweet smile!

Gregory Allen

Groomsman

Philosopher - A tasteful manifestation of a man's man, we met on the block. Now we toat the toat.

Kimberly Murray

Bridesmaid

Ohhh My Kimmy! We met in what will remain unspoken...hehehe. While we were searching to be part of something that seemed so granular became a lesson in our own strength, perseverance and commitment to connect with true divine energy. Kim always felt like an older sister, having much wisdom, keeping me in check and allowing me to be vulnerable. We can talk for days or give each other space, yet it always feels like she is by my side.

Larry Valdemar

Groomsman

Protector - A champion of stature and trailblazing, we met on the block. Now we fly to fly.

Takisha Dawkins

Bridesmaid

Takisha and I met in what I will call my 'Awkward Preteens" even though I was dressed strangely, laughed loud (still kind of do that) and had a protective layer of observant shyness... we ultimately gravitated toward each other. Takisha has always been supportive, kind and a good listener. It was during our favorite part of the day, "Tea Time" that we poured into each other and reflected on our goals and dreams. Wouldn't have any other way then to have a cup of Taki the night before the big day!

For all the days along the way
