Zanna and Romel met during their Freshman year of college at Sonoma State University. It was about 2 weeks into the school year, and Zanna heard some loud music being played from the dorm across the quad. 'That's YG!' she thought and decided to grab her dorm mate to go and meet the people playing that music. When she got up the stairs to the dorm, she was greeted by a variety of other freshman all mingling and buzzing from the newness and excitement of the university environment. Romel was one of those freshman, charming and sociable, he introduced himself to Zanna. They clicked right away, spending the next couple of hours bantering, jamming to music and playing card games. After a while she left and went back to her dorm. But to her surprise there was a knock on the door a few hours later. It was Romel and his dorm mate, wanting to let her and her dormmates know about a dance happening the next day. Well, his dorm mate stayed for about 2 minutes and left Romel there standing alone in her living room. Although she figured this was the plan all along, she found it charming. They spent the rest of the evening hanging out and getting to know each other. They went to that dance together the following day and have been inseparable ever since.
