Brandon has known Chris for as long as he can remember. They've been best friends for life and share dashing good looks (thanks mom and dad!), humor, and adventurous spirits. As adults, their relationship bloomed even as they went their separate paths. They've conquered mountains together and spent long nights debating about everything. Without a doubt, they have an equal in each other that stokes the flames of fraternal love and competition. Note: Chris is as silly as he is intelligent. Approach with caution!

Kim re‑entered Maria's life at exactly the right moment, as if the universe had been quietly holding space for their paths to cross again. The two of them are unmistakably similar souls. They find humor in every situation. They lean on one another with complete trust, knowing the other will always show up. Kimberly constantly offers a fresh perspective on the world and helped her rediscover pieces of herself she hadn’t even realized were missing. She stands as a true inspiration to individuality, living unapologetically, reminding everyone around her to do the same. And as if all that weren’t enough, she can also make a mean avocado toast; some people really do have it all!

Brandon became friends with Femi in 6th grade, although they played soccer against each other as kids. During a tumultuous time for any teenager, Brandon found another brother in Femi. Through various phases of life, their friendship has evolved and matured to match their individual growths. While level headed and focused, Femi always inspires Brandon to be present, compassionate, and to always stop and smell the roses.
Quiana Mendez
Bridesmaid
Growing up, Quiana taught Maria so much about what it means to be a role model, often without even realizing it. Although she was her cousin, she always felt more like a sister. As kids, they bickered and fought the way only family can, but with time, those moments helped shape a strong foundation built on honesty, love, and mutual respect. Now, they look back on those years with gratitude, knowing they helped each other grow closer rather than apart. Watching Quiana grow into such a remarkable young lady has been one of Maria’s greatest joys. Quiana carries herself with grace, strength, and purpose, and Maria is incredibly proud of the outstanding person she has become.

During their freshman year at Union Catholic HS, Brandon sat behind Nick in English class. From there, they quickly became friends and gamed often- both on the field and online! Over the years, they've gone on countless adventures together and cultivated their shared curiosity of our world. A recent core memory was them exploring Buffalo, NY before the April '25 solar eclipse.
