When in Texas

The Wedding Website of kristen zeffery and jeremy siu
Welcome to Austin, Texas! Over the last few years, we have explored and eaten as much as we could in the great state of Texas. Austin is home to some of our favorite places so we thought we would share some. We hope you have the chance to explore a bit while you're here!
Farmers Commons

Farmers Commons

111 Via Francesco, Florence, TX 76527

Our venue has a phenomenal restaurant on site. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be available during your stay!

Dwell House Coffee and Tap

Dwell House Coffee and Tap

Great coffee on main street Florence near the Florence welcome mural.

Sweet Lemon Kitchen

Sweet Lemon Kitchen

Just off Main Street and next to Founders Park, you'll find the cutest breakfast and lunch patio.

309 Coffee

309 Coffee

309 South Main Street, Georgetown, TX 78626

Their seasonal cardamom cold brew or the shaken-not-stirred espresso *must* be experienced. Sit on the patio or walk into town among the red poppies. Fun Fact: Georgetown is known for the red poppy this time of year - the city is covered in them! They even have a Poppy Festival in April.

Coffee + Crisp

Coffee + Crisp

3220 Amy Donovan Plaza, Austin, TX 78758
, 5127639717

While exploring downtown Austin before you head out, try our favorite coffee shop in Austin! The lavender oat milk latte is the best!

La Barbecue

La Barbecue

2401 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, TX 78702
, 5126059696

You can't visit Austin and *not* try some of the best BBQ. It's just not allowed. This place was voted one of the best, come hungry and find out why!

Austin Bat Cave

1210 Rosewood Avenue, Austin, TX 78702

Fun fact: a few months out of the year Austin houses millions of bats until the babies are mature enough to fly to Mexico. While here, they nestle under the bridges, and at sundown, they fly to the trees to feed and explore. It is such a cool thing to witness millions of bats vacating the bridge and flying overhead. You can find seating all along the river bank and bridge to witness the 20 minutes of chaos and beauty.

Berry Springs Park and Preserve

1801 County Road 152, Georgetown, TX 78626

If you have some time to stretch your legs, we highly recommend Berry Springs Park. The 2.5-mile hike is gorgeous and has plenty of space to explore. May is still wildflower season so enjoy the drive!

Georgetown Farmers Market

301 w 7th st, georgetown, TX

Thursdays from 10 am - 2 pm kill some time before the big event and explore Georgetown's farmers market located at the Public Library!

For all the days along the way
