We're getting married!

Carrie and Michael met the good old fashioned way...on an app (Shout out Hinge). Carrie tried to "postpone" the first date but realized Michael had rearranged his plans (skipped his workout) so she went. Carrie remembered having a good time but left the date thinking she would never see Michael again. After playing it cool for several days (4 to be exact), Michael decided to ask Carrie out on their second date, and the rest is history.

Little did Carrie know, Michael had been planning the proposal for 2 months before he finally popped the question. Michael told Carrie to come to an End-of-the-Season party for his work at Barney's Beanery at the Redondo Beach Pier. Michael suggested that Carrie meet him outside so that they could record a birthday message to his parents. In the video, Michael kept repeating the date (September 28, 2019) and his voice started to shake. Carrie became very confused. Michael eventually got down on one knee and asked Carrie to marry him. Carrie said yes and put the ring on herself. Carrie's and Michael's families and friends were all at Michael's parents' house to celebrate.
