FAQs

The color palette above shows colors we recommend wearing to the wedding.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31 using the RSVP tab on our website. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our love surrounded by the people who mean the most to us—that’s the greatest gift of all! That said, if you’d like to contribute something, we’ve set up two funds you can find under the Registry tab of this website. We’ll also have a table at the reception for anyone who’d prefer to bring a card or gift in person. Whatever you choose, we’re just so grateful to celebrate with you!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors in Groveland, CA. Late October weather can be a little unpredictable—it might be sunny and warm during the day, but it cools off quickly in the evening. We recommend dressing in layers or bringing a jacket so you can stay comfortable.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal and we would love for you to dress in our wedding's colors, but please do not feel obligated to go and buy something new to match. The colors we suggest are visible at the top of this page, but think October and Autumn: forest and sage greens, neutrals, and burnt orange and rust. We encourage you to dress in attire that makes you feel comfortable and confident for the celebration. For women, options include cocktail dresses, midi or knee-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt and blazer are appropriate; ties are optional. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be on grass and the reception on cobblestone, so choose footwear that’s comfortable for uneven terrain.

Question

Who is invited? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re keeping things intimate, so only guests listed by name on your RSVP are invited. If you’re unsure, check the RSVP section of the site or reach out and we will be happy to clarify.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we are planning an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off and join us for a fun, relaxing evening!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve included recommendations for nearby hotels and Airbnb options in the Travel section of the website. Groveland is a small town, so we suggest booking early if you can!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the wedding. Please note that there will be no shuttle service provided.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There’s parking available along the long driveway leading up to the venue. A parking attendant will be there to guide you. Once you’re parked, there’s a short uphill walk to the ceremony space, so plan your footwear accordingly and allow yourself a little extra time.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so we recommend arriving with enough time to park, walk up to the venue, and get settled. Please don’t arrive earlier than 3:30 PM as we’ll still be getting things ready!

Question

What is being served for dinner?

Answer

We’ll be having tacos! Choose from chicken, carne asada, or al pastor, with rice and beans on the side. Our vegetarian friends can opt for a cheese quesadilla.
