John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk has more than 130 shops, restaurants and attractions. You'll find plenty of water activities from WaveRunner rentals and parasailing lessons to pirate cruises. One of our favorite spots is Mad Beach Brewing Company where you'll find craft beer, juicy burgers and games.
At the St Pete Pier you'll find rooftop bars/restaurants, live music, events, and even a playground. Don't forget to take the trolley up to Pier Teaki for drinks and gorgeous 360 views or go upstairs to Teak for a quiet dinner. Pier Teaki is often busy so don't be afraid to hover near a table checking out so you can grab seating.
Our favorite spot for crab and shrimp and grits! No reservations needed. Stop by at the host desk, grab a drink, watch the pelicans and they'll call your name when a table is ready. Tip: Request a table outside by the water. There's a good chance you'll see dolphins. Park at the last lot (it's free unlike the $30 one before it).
Access the rooftop bar with its amazing 360 views by walking into our wedding venue and taking the elevator to the Spinner's restaurant where you'll see the floor literally spins. Down the stairs is the rooftop bar with ocean views and lounge chairs. Please note, reservations needed far in advance if wanting to dine in at the Spinner's restaurant.
Our go-to rooftop bar just 5 minutes from our house. It boasts ocean views, rooftop pool, cabanas and intercoastal views. Tip: Avoid the fees and park at the gravel lot next to it for free to walk to the beach or bars nearby.
Jimmy's has 4 great locations: Jimmys Fish House & Iguana Bar, Jimmys Crows Nest, Jimmys On the Edge, and Jimmy Guanas Waterfront Restaurant. All of these locations have a beautiful ocean view, fun cocktails, great food and most have live music. Fun Fact: the owner first started this chain of restaurants in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This location, Jimmy's Fish House & Iguana Bar, has its own Green Bay Packer bar! Not to mention a large deck over the ocean with live music.
If you're looking for good southern smoked meats, this is the place to be! Grab a corona, sit at a surf table outside and enjoy some smoked brisket or ribs. Parking is limited and very tight so you may want to look for public parking nearby.
