Day Hike to Vernal Falls with the Bride and Groom

Join Emily and Justin for a day hike to one of their favorite spots in Yosemite, Vernal Falls! The Mist Trail offers an incredible, up-close view of both Vernal and Nevada Falls, and the beautiful scenery of the Merced River and the Yosemite Valley. All experience levels are welcome on this hike; for those that don't want to hike all the way to Vernal Falls (`2.5 miles round trip, 1000 foot elevation gain), there is a moderate hike to the Vernal Fall Footbridge (~1.5 miles round trip, 400 foot elevation gain). Meet us in front of the Evergreen Lodge Main Lodge at 8:30 AM and we will caravan to the valley, or meet us at the Happy Isles Trailhead in the valley at 10:00 am (#16 on the Yosemite Hiking Map). Please plan to provide your own lunch, snacks, and water for the day. Check back here for updates about the timing of this hike as we refine the details.
