Travel Note
The main way to get to College Station and 7F Lodge is driving, either the entire journey or from one of the recommended airports. It is important to note that Houston does have 2 airports, however William P, Hobby Airport (HOU) it is located on the opposite side of the city which adds a significant amount of travel time to those who need to drive after landing compared to George Bush Intercontinental (IAH). San Antonio does also have an airport but the three hour plus drive with no unique airlines means it is not desirable compared to the two airports listed here. Apart from flying or driving into College Station, there is also an Amtrak station located in Bryan. Bryan is College Station’s sister city and this train station is only 15 miles away from the wedding venue.
Flight
College Station does have a small airport which is an option for those who do not wish to drive from one of the larger airports. American and United both have a few flights a day into Easterwood Airport (CLL) from George Bush in Houston (IAH) and from Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Flight
Austin - Bergstrom International is between two and two and a half hour drive and around 115 miles from the wedding venue. The major airlines flying here are American Airlines, Delta, jetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and United. There are a number of rental car companies in the airport and this drive through the hill country of central Texas is the more scenic of the two drives.
Flight
George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) in Houston takes roughly an hour and a half to drive the just under 100 miles to 7F Lodge. The larger of the two airports it has most airlines, excluding Southwest. There are also all major car rental properties and has the most direct route to the venue.
Hotel
Located 6 miles and 10 - 15 minutes from 7F Lodge. This is about as close of a hotel as there is relative to the wedding venue.
House Or Rental
Another popular option is AirBNB. There are many places around Bryan / College Station and the surrounding areas. The major things to keep in mind while booking lodging is the traffic around Texas A&M University. Most of the area doesn’t have heavy traffic issues, however Texas Ave. and University Dr. have the heaviest traffic overall. The Aggies do have an away game this weekend which should help with traffic.
