We’re becoming one!

It all started with a random conversation at 'The Grille' at Shenandoah University. Cherish approached Tyrone and decided to talk to have a random conversation with him and thought she'd never talk to this stranger again. Then, a few weeks later, she went to a rehearsal for SOW (Sound of Worship) at Zion Baptist Church and there’s Tyrone, the drummer... Oh Lorddddddd! Luckily they became friends and apart of a close friendship that they called "SQUUAAADDDD"! A few years later the flirting starts and they find themselves on their first date at the top of the Brandt Student Center Garage, stargazing... oh yeah, a friend was sleep in the backseat of the car (sorry girl haha). At this point, some time has passed and it is July 5th of 2017. Tyrone and Cherish went on a date to Fells Point in Baltimore... As they are sitting down, looking at the stars and the fish, Tyrone asks if Cherish will be his girlfriend! (I guess since we on a wedding website, you can assume the next part.) She said yesssss!!! Let's now fast forward to February 19, 2022... Tyrone picks Cherish up from work and they go to Winchester for one of their friends "bakery launch party"... Tyrone is saying he is feeling sick and Cherish is saying maybe they shouldn't go because she doesn't want to get herself or anyone else sick. Tyrone insists it was the food he had earlier and that he will be fine. They get to Winchester and start getting ready for the "launch party". Their friend keeps calling asking when they will arrive and Cherish gets suspicious and asks "are we the only ones that's going to be at this party?" Tyrone says "I don't think so, you know he likes to be on time." Cherish decided she doesn't understand the rush but she will hurry up. Once they drive up to the chapel for the "launch party", Cherish says jokingly, "is this my engagement" (haha). Tyrone ensures her that it is not (boyyy he must've been shaking in his boots). As they walk in, they are greeted by one of their friends and he shows them the cupcakes that he has on display for the night in the lobby. Then, they all go inside the chapel and the song "You are my African Queen" starts playing, along with a slideshow of pictures of Tyrone and Cherish. At this point, Cherish knows what is happening and is shaking in her own boots. Fast forward to today, I am writing the short version of our love story. I hope it made you giggle a bit like it did for me. We can not wait to see you on our big day and we hope that you will be with us throughout our life journey!
