Venetian Pool
This unique aquatic facility has been enjoyed since 1923. The Venetian Pool is fed by spring water from an underground aquifer and is refilled daily, with over 820,000 gallons of water. The pool features two waterfalls and cave-like grottos for a fun experience for all swimmers.
Crandon Park
Forget South Beach.....head to Key Biscayne for the best beaches. "Located right on Biscayne Bay, Crandon Park is popular for its beautiful beach, rich coastal environment, unique fossilized mangrove reef, protected wetlands, birding sites and extensive range of sports and outdoor activities." (Kristen spent a lot of time here in high school - great for tiny humans and nursing hangovers)

Bike down alligator alley or do an airboat ride through the swamp. Lots of wildlife you'll see once in a lifetime! Stop at "Robert is Here" for fresh fruit/smoothies/milkshakes on your way to or from!
Pinecrest Bakery - Pinecrest
Best snack food. This is a local chain so you can find them all over Miami! James' favorite: guava + cheese pastelito Kristen's favorite: guava pastelito or coconut paselito Also order: ham or bacalao croquetas, meat pastelitos, tequeños (a better version of a cheese stick), a cafe con leche, fresh squeezed orange juice
Fritz & Franz Bierhaus
Traditional German beer hall. Great place to grab a beer & pretzel or some schnitzel. They have sports games on usually (watched Germany win the world cup here!) Around the corner if you're staying at the Hyatt!
Sea Siam
Best Thai food. Kristen's favorites: pad thai, massaman curry, curry puffs, any of their sushi rolls
Chang's Chinese Restaurant
Best Chinese food. Kristen's & James' favorites: homemade salt & pepper tofu, chicken hot pot, garlic fried chicken

Best Cuban food. It's right by the Venetian Pool! Kristen's favorites: pollo a la plancha with onions, ropa vieja, tostones, arroz con pollo, arroz imperial
El Carajo
Best Spanish/tapas. It's inside of a BP gas station (JUST HEAR ME OUT). Order the paella, and any of the tapas. The cava is *chefs kiss*
Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant
Best Mexican food. Kristen's favorite: the fajitas!!! any of the burritos or enchiladas
