We're Getting Married!

Maurice wrote on Avery's Facebook wall saying, "You should hmu sometime ;)" Avery replied with her phone number, and the rest is history! We met for the first time at Southland Mall in Taylor, Michigan. We went to different schools and lived 1 hour away from each other. We spent a lot of time Skyping and hanging out at the mall on the weekends during our early days. I would go watch Maurice's football and baseball games as his #1 fan and supporter whenever I could. Maurice graduated a year before me and moved to South Carolina to play college baseball. We were sad when he left but continued to support each other. The distance between us grew, but so did our love. We didn't let anything come between us. Now we look back to our long-distance days and see how far we have come. After a few semesters apart, Maurice moved back home and we have been inseparable ever since! Our love has continued to grow. We stick by each other's sides through good times and bad. We have given one another space to grow at our own pace and make a great team. Before the pandemic, we attended Wayne State University together for a few semesters. Those were the best times when we were on campus at the same time together, helping each other through the stress of school. Maurice has always supported me through my long educational journey and continues to do so. After years of school, personal, and relationship growth, Maurice proposed on May 21, 2021, in San Francisco, California. Now we are getting married on February 27, 2023, and so excited for you to join us on our special day!❤️
