First Day: March 20, 2019 Yes Day: December 3, 2021 “I Do” Day: June 4, 2022 In 2010, we first met at a mutual friends house party. We would occasionally talk every now and then but not too much. It wasn’t until years later that we truly connected. It started off as just talking to one another and before we knew it, we were living together. It happened quickly but it felt so right. Our families loved the partner we had chosen. (which is a huge deal lol) We went from working low paying jobs to watching and encouraging each other to grow, and that’s what we’ve done. We’re building our life together, pieces at a time. Between wrestling around, cooking together, going on adventures, and loving our furbabies, we’ve found time to continue growing our love for each other. On a day I thought was just another birthday, was really a day that changed my life. My partner, my lifelong bestfriend, got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. We went out to dinner at Dave and Busters in Hoover and enjoyed some delicious food. Afterwards, we went towards the arcade area to play games! Yall know we love to play some games. While walking around trying to decide what I wanted to do first, Cody decided he’d get down on his knee. I can’t lie, I was confused at first. Mostly because I wanted to know why the heck he was on the floor.. but then I saw the box. That little, tiffany blue box took the breath out of me! He opened it, asked the big question, and of course I said yes! How could I not?! It was simply such a wonderful night and he took me by surprise, again. I couldn’t ask for a better partner, a better FIANCE/HUSBAND. <3
