Lincoln Park Zoo Lights' festive activities include musical light shows, live ice sculpture demos, holiday drinks and snacks, photos with Santa! Also, be sure to seek out the carousel, train and Ferris wheel rides! Jennifer and Kyle have visited this fun outdoor event almost every year. Make sure to bring a warm coat, hat, and gloves!

This is a wondrous, idyllic Christmas market located less than a mile from the hotel! Be sure to try the Glühwein (a warm mulled wine) and look for the famous hand-carved wooden ornaments! While working at her first downtown job, Jennifer used to come here during her lunch breaks to hunt for one-of-a-kind Christmas presents.

The Art Institute of Chicago is a must-see for everyone, but it has a special place in Jennifer's heart. She has visited this museum throughout her life, as a baby, a girl scout, a student, and an adult. One of Jennifer and Kyle's first Chicago dates was a visit to this museum! Jennifer especially recommends the Thorne Miniature Rooms, which she insists should be called "The Dollhouse Exhibit".
