Hi everyone! ✈️ As you start looking at flights and hotels for our August 26 wedding, we wanted to share a few quick travel tips. The Black Hills area gets very busy in August — especially because of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally (Aug 7–16, 2026), which brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to the region each year and can impact airfare and lodging prices even in the weeks around it. We tried to take all this into account when the venue. ✦ Closest airport: Rapid City Regional (RAP) – easiest access to the venue ✦ Budget-friendly option: Denver (DEN) – often cheaper flights if you’re open to a scenic drive We recommend setting flight alerts now and planning to book sometime between late May and mid-July, or whenever you see a price you’re comfortable with — August travel in the Black Hills can fill up quickly. More transportation details (including shuttle info!) will be shared closer to the wedding. We’re so excited to celebrate with you 🤍
