Wedding Party

Carmella Pahl

Matron of Honor

Ella is my older sister. Growing up together, I spent my days following Ella around annoying her as any little sister would do. As we got older there were many car ride karaoke sessions, secret fast food runs, and fights over whose clothes were whose. These days, Ella is living in New Orleans with her husband, dogs and cat. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places. There isn't another person I could imagine standing by my side on my wedding day than my big sister.

Isabelle Nahass

Bridesmaid

Isabelle is my younger sister. Though there are 15 years between us, when she was born I was instantly in love and so excited to be her big sister. We spent her childhood playing dress up and Barbies together. Today she is a rock-star cheerleader and working toward her driver's license. She now plays Barbie's with her niece every time we come to visit. Even though its hard to watch her grow up from 1200 miles away, I am constantly in awe of the amazing young woman she is becoming. My wedding day would be incomplete without my kid sister.

Tyler Schaefer

Bridesmaid

I met Tyler in 2017 when she first moved down to Florida. Our instant friendship quickly morphed into a family bond. She was my first call when I found out I was pregnant with Lucy and has been my shoulder to cry on more times than I can count. From working at Buckle together to sleepovers when Corey is out of town to holiday dinners and Christmas morning, Tyler has been a part of my everyday life for the last 6 years. She just recently left Stuart to move back to Buffalo for a work opportunity and as sad as we were to watch her go, our whole family is so excited for everything her future holds back home!

Sasha Luchs

Bridesmaid

Sasha has been my best friend since our freshman year of high school. She has been by my side through every up and down in my life and has taught me more about friendship than anyone else I know. We have been through just about every life experience together. She even helped Corey plan our engagement! From silly days at 14 singing rent and walking to Starbucks to hanging out in Irish pubs getting into trouble together to walking down the aisle our friendship has held strong and continued to grow

Katherine McDonald

Bridesmaid

Katherine was one of my first close friends when I moved to Florida. Through the years, she has helped me grow in so many ways. We have both started families together and she has been an example of the type of woman, wife, and mother I aspire to be. Katherine met me at the lowest point in my life and helped guide me to the beautiful life I am privileged to live today. I cannot imagine my wedding day without her not only standing by my side, but busting a move on the dance floor next to me!

Angel Fereshetian

Bridesmaid

If you know me, chances are you've heard quite an earful about Angel. We met while she was pregnant with her daughter, and not long after she helped bring mine into the world. We've been through two pregnancies together and gave our children built in best friends. She helped me to find my passion in birth work and helped guide me into getting started as a doula. Today we not only operate as friends and business partners but as a part of each others family. Quite frequently you'll find us rearranging our homes together or possibly on a mission to pick up some new wonderful find off Facebook marketplace or on a quiet day, drinking a cup of coffee while the kids play and our men play some music together.

Sarah Walker

Bridesmaid

I met Sarah a few years ago and we became instant friends. I knew she was someone who would understand the way my mind works, when she called me to interrogate me about my midwife without ever mentioning her pregnancy. We spent many nights around my dining room table bonding over our cats, and laughing about some of our more questionable life choices. On any given day, you can find probably find Sarah in my kitchen making herself a cup of coffee whether I'm home or not. She shares in my excitement over the little things like learning how to do my own nails and is the only person I'd let within 10 feet of my hair with a pair of shears. I know no matter what I'm going to get the truth from Sarah, even when I don't want to hear that I was wrong and that I can always be my true self around her.

Kory Koller

Best Man

I met Kory in the bathroom of a treatment center. Unimpressed by the fact that we shared the same name, we say now that we felt like “this rehab isn’t big enough for the both of us”. He will say that he decided we could be friends after I paid him back $8 he loaned me for a Jimmy John’s sub, which evidently wasn’t a common personality trait in treatment. Since then we’ve lived together, worked together, bowled together, he’s become the godfather of both Lucy and Noah, I was the best man at his wedding, and now he’s the Best Man at mine. Kory is one of the few that has known the good, the bad, and the ugly of my life, and has always been consistently supportive no matter which I was experiencing. He’s my good friend and a better brother.

Chris “Bubby” Gray

Groomsman

Chris, affectionately known as Bubby, has been like a brother to me for many years. From our time in the band together, to helping me earn some cash on painting jobs when I was younger, he always looked out for me. Like a true friend, he always supported me in my quests to improve my life, and never shied away from being honest with me when I was going in the opposite direction. There’s no one else on Earth that can make you laugh the way Bub can. We’ve played a lot of music together, and have gone to many memorable shows. We’re so glad to have him next to us on our special day.

Shawn McDonald

Groomsman

Shawn is one of the most genuine people we know. It’s safe to say that both he and his wife, Katherine, have played instrumental roles in our lives. Shawn, who started as a spiritual advisor to me, certainly became and friend a brother. Whether he likes it or not, he is often the voice of reason and direction for many of our friends. People tend to seek his wisdom, as do I. He continues to mentor me spiritually, but never lets me go without a friend and a lending ear either. Shawn, too, has been supportive in the best and worst times. I hope that I can be at least half the friend to him that he is to me.

Kyle Fiscus

Groomsman

I met Kyle not too long after moving to Florida. I don’t really remember much about how we got close, but I know that it had a lot to do with the passion we had for helping others recover from addiction. He struck me as a humble guy willing to help, and often demonstrated that but giving me rides in his car dubbed the “Spiritual Saturn” while I didn’t have a car. Throughout my time in Florida, Kyle and I, and often Gaby too have had some great experiences, including an innumerable amount of concerts, Labor Dave weekend at the Gorge, Seattle, Wrestlemania and several other wrestling events, a couple trips to South Carolina, and a bunch of recovery events. He’s a guy you want around for all the fun things you do in life. We stay in tough by way of a group chat with a couple other guys mentioned here, often agreeing on 90% of our opinions and fighting to the death over the 10%. But you’ve gotta admire the conviction. Today Kyle is known and loved by our kids as “Uncle Ky”.I’m looking forward to him being next to us in our wedding day, and all of the future events we’ll sure enjoy in the future. ☝️

Greg Phillips

Groomsman

Greg I met early on here in Florida and has also become a close friend and Uncle Greg to the kids. He is without a doubt the voice of reason of the group chat, which just seems ridiculous when you type that out. We, too, have gone on many excursions, usually centering around Dave Matthews Band. I’ll just mention that he’s been to 70+ Dave Matthews shows, which I’d like to catch up to but we keep going to the shows together. He’s a guy that’s quick to see how he can meet your needs and be of service to his fellows. He’s helped me in many ways, many times. And to this day, aside from our constant communication in the group chat, if we get on the phone it will likely be a 45 minute to an hour before we hang up. To quote Dave Matthews, “Turns out not where, but who you’re with that really matters”. That rings true for having Greg around. ☝️

Carmine Esposito

Groomsman

Carm is the most shot out, respectable human being I know. I first ran into Carm early 2016 on one of our friend’s porches. I don’t think I really knew how to take him. Also not sure if I figured it out yet. But I know that in 2019, the group chat was born and our love of wrestling and music has cemented the bond between all of us. Having gone to a few wrestling events and concerts with Carm, it’s always quite the experience. Him and Kyle are always quick to remind me that the shades stay on, day or night, and they won’t let me hear the end of it if I miss a once in a lifetime concert. Like I said, we tend to go to a lot of things together, and it’s always a good time. He’s a good friend, the kids love him as well, and so do we. The only one cooler than Carm is his son Rome 🤘🏻 He is acknowledged. ☝️
