Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 15th. If we do not hear from you by that date, we will unfortunately not be able to have you there for our celebration. We would love for you to RSVP as soon as you can though! The earlier the better :)

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Stevens Point Convention Center since that is where we are having our reception! If you call for a room before June 6th and say you are with the Metzig Wedding, they should put you with our Room Block as well.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We request that everyone wears cocktail attire such as midi or long dresses, trousers, button ups, suit jackets, blazers, etc. We would also love if you wore outfits in shades of cabernet, burgundy, eucalyptus, and sage (or anything similar to those colors!), but we understand if you can't or prefer another color as long as it is not white.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the ceremony around 2:30pm to enjoy the reserve and find your seat before we begin at 3:00pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a paved parking lot available at Schmeeckle for the ceremony and at Holiday Inn for the reception.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The city of Stevens Point is hosting their annual Riverfront Rendezvous from July 4th-6th at Pfiffner Pioneer Park. We have attended together the past 3 years and highly recommend attending for live music, food truck delights, and a beautiful atmosphere along the Wisconsin River.
