Hi, I’m Dotty! Tee & I are cousins so we’ve known each other since we were kids but our friendship blossomed during our freshman year in college. Tiara is a God-fearing, faith-filled friend. Through her relationship with Christ, she has SHOWN me to be tenacious during any storm. I’ve shared some ugly cries and even uglier laughs (& a few high-pitched screams) with her & I consider it an honor to stand with the Metans on their special day. Tiara deserves the best, and honey she got just that! Choosing to give her heart to Mr. Metan was one of the best decisions she’s made. One of the things I admire about their relationship is how they challenge each other to cultivate new skills -transforming continuously, all while working with a spirit of excellency. Fab (or F.A.) is the 2nd Ivorian brother that I met when I first moved to Wichita. Fab is the guy that I can call at anytime when I need to talk about anything. I met Tiara through F.A. I went to his apartment one day and he told me that he started talking to a beautiful lady and he has a pretty good feeling about her. They have meaningful conversations and she is as goal oriented as he is. I met Titi a little later and she seemed really cool and mature. I saw in her a woman. One whom a man can cling to and together make this world a better place. Today I can easily say that I always see love, happiness when I see them together. And the one thing that I like the most is that with Titi in his life Fab got a lot closer to God. She is definitely his EVE.

A decade ago I met Fabrice Metan aka Mr. Bilingual aka My little brother in Wichita, KS where we both attended WSU. After being acquainted by a mutual friend, the fact that we were both Ivorian brought a brotherhood amongst us here in the United States. We also became college roommates for 3-4 years of that decade. Fabrice was a great roommate but furthermore a loyal friend. Tiara was introduced to our group of friends as Fabrice's friend. She speaks his love language and makes my guy happy. Tiara and Fabrice together makes perfect sense, you can see and feel the love and respect they have for one another. Dear Fabrice, I am overjoyed to hear that you and Tiara are getting married on August 19th, 2023! As your friend for about 30 years and as your neighbor for almost a decade when we were kids, I have had the privilege of watching your journey unfold and I am so happy for you both. I have fond memories of our childhood days, going to the same kindergarten, elementary, and high school together. Seeing you grow and mature into the amazing person you are today has been a true joy. Maaaannnn... it all started in Abidjan during the summer of 2008. Everything was ready for me to get to Wichita for my undergrad, so mom summoned me to her office so I could meet the son of her colleague who was already going to school there. The fact that 12 years later people can read this on Fabrice and Tiara's wedding website says it all. From meeting in that office, him giving me a warm welcome in Wichita, graduating from the same school, starting several businesses together, going through ups and downs, meeting his fiancé, to today being part of their wedding is a blessing, and I'm thankful for it. I pray to still be part of both your lives and the kids in health, love and prosperity.

I’ve landed in Wichita, KS in 2008 and I’ve been blessed to meet Fabrice Metan that same year. Being a student and on a tight Ramen noodle budget I just couldn’t fathom how anyone was able to afford a haircut at that time.The answer came to me in one of the best way possible. That day, my cousin Hector finally grew tired of walking around with my caveman looking self and decided to let me in on a little known secret: The FA barbershop aka Fabrice‘s bathroom aka the African barber’s plug!! That day I’ve not only got a really nice haircut but also met a man that have impressed me on so many levels and still continue to do so. 15 years later we’ve not only became friends but I’m proud to be able to call him my brother. Have you ever watched a ball game and after the first quarter thought: It’s game over?! That’s how I felt whenever I’ve met Tiara for the first time at Fabrice’s place during an event she actually put together. Her dedication ,the attention to details, the quality of the meals(yes I’m a proud African fat boy), but above all the chemistry the two of them shared led me to believe she is undeniably the one! My feeling has since then been confirmed over and over again as I’ve watched the couple grow together, one achievement at the time. Naturally, I couldn’t be more excited about the news of these two birds cementing their union and allowing me to take part in the adventure. May God bless the Metan! The future looks bright and you both definitely bring the light!

It’s a huge privilege to be selected to the wedding party of Fabrice & Tiara wedding. Fabrice is the first Ivorian that I have met here in Wichita when I moved to the US in 2007. The connection kicked in as soon as we started talking. He was my first ride and guide to the Mall and the club. Our friendship has grown during the years and filled with many memories I have always admired Fabrice for his intelligence, kindness ,availability, integrity and willingness to help others. One evening in early 2018, I was invited to a surprise birthday for Fabrice by a lady that I had never met before. That birthday evening, I met a young, smart and beautiful black women devoted to my boy, her name is Tiara. Since that day, I have seen their relationship grow and mature later on with the blessing of Jayden and Vanessa.
