What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
Answer
There is NO guest parking allowed at the venue so we will be providing shuttle service from The Hadsten Hotel and Corque Hotel in Solvang, California. Please note shuttle pickup times on details card that will be included with your invitation.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Our dress code is formal attire. For gentleman, this means a tuxedo or black/dark grey suit and necktie or bowtie. For ladies, a floor-length evening gown or a midi- or tea-length dress would be appropriate. Alternatively, ladies can opt for an elevated jumpsuit or a dark suit.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our afternoon ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outdoors. Guests will walk a short distance on gravel to the ceremony space and the reception will be held in a grassy area. For this reason, block or wedge heels are recommended if wearing heels. The after party will be held indoors in the wine cave at the Sunstone Winery located down the hill from the villa. For guests not familiar with California weather, even on the warmest days, temperatures in this area of California can be as low as the 50s-60s at night. Heaters will be available on the property and in use, but please bring an appropriate jacket or shawl as well.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?
Answer
Southern California during the day in August will be warm in the 80s, but can be cold at night in the 50s-60s. We recommend sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony and a light wrap or a wedding attire appropriate jacket to cover bare shoulders at night. Parasols will be provided during the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
We have secured discounted room blocks at two amazing hotels. If you are arriving on Thursday, please take advantage of our discounted group rate at The Hadsten in Solvang, CA. If you are arriving on Friday, please take advantage of our discounted group rate at the Corque Hotel (also in Solvang). What's the best airport to use?
Answer
Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is approximately a 45-minute drive from the hotels and services Alaska, American, Delta, Southwest, and United Airlines. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is an alternate choice servicing as an operating base for more passenger airlines than any other airport in the United States, should you wish to visit the Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
Given the nature of the property and guest list limitations, children are not permitted to attend the wedding ceremony or reception.
