We Are Getting Married!

We met at Senior Prom in 2011. After prom we both ended up at a mutual friends house and watched the Lion King. Jacob got Emily's number, and asked Emily out and they officially started dating on May 6, 2011. Their first date was dinner and a movie. They had dinner at Sals Pizzeria and saw the movie Water for Elephants. Jacob dropped Emily off and sealed the deal with a kiss.

Emily and Jacob went to New York City for Valentines weekend in 2019. This was the third trip that they had taken to New York City. New York City is one of the couples favorite places that they have traveled to. On the first day of the trip they walked around Manhattan and visited the flat iron district. After dinner they went to the top of the Rockefeller Center to see the beautiful New York skyline. The view from the top of the rock is one of Emily and Jacob's favorite views in New York City. They had not been back to the hotel all day so Emily was not expecting anything to happen, but it turns out Jacob had been carrying the ring around all day. Once they we on the top of the building Jacob got down on one knee and asked Emily marry him. Emily said of course and the rest is history!
