We recommend staying at the Courtyard Dallas Plano/The Colony. Please reference the Maldonado Wedding if you are planning on staying here. The grooms, along with their families, will be staying at the Courtyard Dallas Plano/The Colony. There will also be a few perks for those staying at the Homewood Suites! As much as we love your children, we kindly request that guest at our ceremony and reception are ages 12 and up. Please use our wedding as an excuse to treat yourself to night without the kids by finding a sitter!

Answer

Pants (such as khakis or slacks) paired with a button-down shirt are perfectly acceptable, as well as any type of dress. Our wedding colors are black, forest green, and gold, so feel free to coordinate if you’d like! We kindly ask guests not to wear white.

There is plenty of free parking near the entrance. There is also a drop off lane near the front of the reception area.

Don’t drink and drive. If you are staying at the Courtyard, enjoy a leisurely stroll next door to the venue.

Our ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony. NO PHONES, IPADS, ETC. After the ceremony feel free to take as many pictures/videos during the reception. Tag us and use #MeetTheMaldonados when you post them so we can see them!

Go to cocktail "hour" for drinks and games!

During the reception there will be a buffet style dinner. Dinner is chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini. There will be a caesar salad and bread as well. We will also be having a wedding cake as dessert. THERE WILL BE AN OPEN BAR. Security will also be present. Drink wisely.

The reception will end at 10:00 pm. The grooms will be doing a grand exit at the end at 9:50.

In lieu of gifts, we've decided to instead ask for contributions to our honeymoon fund. If you feel compelled to gift us something, we have a link to a list of items at the top of the page. We greatly appreciate your generosity!

The week of the wedding, please forgo reaching out to the grooms.
