Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We are happy to host an open bar for our guests. Pabst offers a wide selection of wines, domestic & locally brewed beers, liquor, and soft drinks

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! If you head over to the Registry page you can find our Zola registry right there. We are also registered at Bed Bath and Beyond. You can find that listed under "Other Registries" on the Registry page.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 27.

What if I need to change my RSVP?

Answer

If you've RSVPed via the website, you can simply enter your name once again and you will have the option to Edit your RSVP at the bottom of the screen. If you've RSVPed via mail, you can either submit a NEW RSVP via the website, or contact us.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served family style and we are working very hard to make sure everyone has something to eat at the wedding, and will be providing special meals for our Gluten Free and Vegan/Vegetarian guests. If you have food allergies please let us know with your RSVP so we can make our caterer aware and find options for you.

Can I bring a date?

If we've included "And Guest" on your invitation then you are welcome to bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If they are named on the invitation then yes, they are welcome.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We like to say that this is an "Elegant Affair" so please come dressed to impress! Anything between cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, and tuxes are all acceptable.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We sure do! We've actually partnered with a few area hotels close to the venue to provide room blocks. Check out our Travel and Accommodations Page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Most of the hotels we've partnered with are within blocks from the venue. We recommend walking or taking a ride-share service (such as Uber or Lyft).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5pm. We recommend you arrive around 4:45pm to be sure you are seated before we begin.

Do I need to worry about transportation between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Nope! Everything will be held in the same venue. Once the ceremony is over we are hosting a cocktail hour before dinner and the reception (all at Pabst Best Place). You won't need to worry about going anywhere else until the evening is over.

Is there a smoking area?

Answer

Pabst does not allow smoking in the venue, but if you need to you can step outside. We ask that you be respectful of the space and use any cigarette butt receptacles available.

Where is the venue?

Answer

The Historic Pabst Best Place Great Hall is located at 923 W. Juneau Ave, Milwaukee WI 53233.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We are providing free garage parking via QR Code for our guests at the Brewery Garage located at 1213 N. 9th Street, across from Pabst. (See Travel page for more information and link to QR Code) You may park at the garage from Noon on 11/16 (Saturday) until Noon on 11/17 (Sunday). If you are staying at an area hotel we recommend you park your vehicle there and walk or use a ride service.
