In August of 2015, right before starting up a new semester of college, Evan and Taylor matched on Tinder. That's right - if you didn't know already, you know now. As soon as they matched, Taylor sent Evan a message and they began talking right away. About two weeks later, Evan and Taylor's finally met in person. The two hung out in the geography wing of Towson's Liberal Arts building in between Taylor’s classes. When it was time to get to class, the two parted ways, setting up a spot to meet after they were both done for the day to grab lunch; lunch went well so they set up their first real date for a few nights later. It went off without a hitch and the rest, as they say, is history.
Leap Day 2020 was a normal Saturday - Taylor ran errands with her mom, and Evan headed to the gym and then to run some errands of his own. Little did Taylor know, Evan's errands included picking up Taylor's engagement ring from the jeweler. That afternoon, Evan played it totally cool - the two hung out as normal before doing dinner at Liquid Lib’s, and Taylor didn’t have the slightest clue what was to come. After dinner, Evan offered to make milkshakes for dessert. And then he hung Taylor’s engagement ring from the straw. When he came into the living room with it, he grabbed a beautiful bouquet of roses that he had purchased earlier in the day and stashed next to the sofa, and got down on one knee. Taylor was so excited and caught off guard that she didn't even see the ring at first. Of course, she said yes about a million times and in between the happiest of tears!
