Klyde Warren Park
This is Dallas's outdoor park in between uptown and downtown. During the day there are food trucks, and there a lot of places to sit on the lawn and enjoy the weather, if it's a nice day.
Adair's Saloon
This is Zach's favorite grunge bar to play Golden Tee and drink cheap cocktails. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have great live music from local Texas country artists.
Katy Trail Ice House
This is a Dallas staple! It is an indoor/outdoor restaurant along the Katy Trail. Grab a summer beer and a brisket plate here, or the bottle-caps appetizer and a grilled cheese.
Neighborhood Cellar
Our dear friends, Lindsey and Ian, own this fantastic wine shop in the Bishop Arts area. This is where Zach surprised Taylor, after the proposal, with a surprise engagement celebration. This is a great place to start in Bishop Arts, and it is a charming area with shops and great restaurants!
The Henry
This is a great brunch or dinner spot! They have a beautiful open air rooftop patio. This restaurant is very "instagram worthy" and if you go, you HAVE to get the short rib potstickers.
City Hall Bistro
This is a fun dining experience for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner! Reservations recommended! City Hall Bistro is located in one of Dallas's most historical hotels, the Adolphus and it recently had a facelift. It's a very cool spot to check out.
The Rustic
This is a fun family style brunch spot with tons of outdoor seating. Live music starts at 12:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays! If you are looking for a Texas experience, this is it!
Dallas Museum of Art
If you are feeling artsy, check out the DMA! It is also walking distance to Kylde Warren Park with food trucks to grab lunch.
