She cheered me on at every single soccer game I competed in (win or lose, rain or shine), and I was her #1 fan at every spelling bee she conquered (and every School Duel quiz show she dominated, in true Ravenclaw fashion)... Peter has always been my best friend and partner in crime. He is my blood brother, after all! Since the beginning of time, we would get into mud pits, redneck hot tubs, and all sorts of trouble. (Sorry, mom!) But in all seriousness, Peter has always been my true bro that I can always talk to and be myself with. He was actually the first one I told about Jackie, and he encouraged me to go for it. He has always helped me be the best version of myself. Peter even drove me to the airport when I flew out to Colorado to surprise Jackie by proposing to her. Without him, we wouldn't be here today. There's no one else I could imagine being my Best Man. Lauren is the baby of the Vazquez family, but the glue that brings everyone together. Being her and Christina's big sister is one of the biggest blessings of my life... so that's why you'll notice she's my Maid of Honor, too! This girl is full of life-giving joy and never fails to make me laugh with her silly jokes. I especially love her knack for creating unique dance moves and hilarious nicknames for our family's beloved dog, Nugget. Honesty, there is no one I trust more with my heart or finances (because she's always been a faithful friend and financial guru) than this sweet dumpling. Lauren is my ray of sunshine, partner-in-crime and has a gift for making everyone feel loved and at home... so make sure to say hi on the big day! I love you, Loli!

James and I have known each other for as long as I can remember! He is truly like a brother to me, and the moment that solidified that is when we went to see our first Switchfoot concert together. It had poured rain during the middle of the concert in an outdoor venue, but the band continued to play and we danced the night away in the rain. He has been with me through road trips (including sleeping in my car because we couldn't find a hotel to stay at), amazing retreats, late night fast food runs (where we literally eat in the parking lot), and much more. You, broski, are just about everything to me. Love you, bro!

Becky and I met in Fall of 2014, at the best university in the sunshine state. #GoKnights! #ChargeOn! Some people may think it's a coincidence that I met my bestie because she was a randomly-assigned roommate in my freshman year of college, but I know in my heart that she was an answered prayer. God hand-picked her to be in room 419 and, more importantly, to be my person. (And now bridesmaid!) Becky and I have journeyed through the highs and lows of life together and she is my favorite travel buddy, badass nurse, wine-tasting partner and dog mom ever. Ask her to show you a picture of my fluffy godson, Marsh! Love you fur-ever, Beck. Can't wait to live in houses connected by a skybridge so that our future kids to grow up and be BFFs too!

Daniel has always been one of my best friends since we were in high school. For as long as I can remember, we would play pick up games of ultimate frisbee at Coral Reef Park, and every time I visit my fam down in Miami, I look forward to picking up right where we left off! He is always down for a bro hang out, which may include beers, cigars, and a good hair cut from the man himself! He is an amazing friend, husband and father. Actually, the first time I was ever a groomsman in a wedding was for this guy's big day... and now I am so happy that he's one of mine! I love you, man!

Emma and I met at UCF, and we transitioned from "roommates" to "soul sisters" seamlessly. We created priceless memories during CCM retreats, Grey's Anatomy marathons, laugh attacks on our big purple couch, deep talks about life, Marg Mondays, and gymnastics routines in our living room. But my favorite memory has to be when I told her about this guy named John Mark that I met at church in Miami... and she responded with: "Kaldahl? Oh yeah, I've known him my whole life. He threw up in my family's car once. But he's a nice guy!" LOL! Now you'll be standing by my side as I take his last name, and I am so grateful for the friendship, truth and encouragement you've shared with me every moment along the way. I love you, Em!

Matthew and I go way back! He was one of the teens that I helped minister to when I was an older teen/young adult at New Life. We have made so many awesome and hilarious memories along the way, including late night fast food hangouts, climbing different areas of the church roof (LOL), and of course SWORD OF LEGENDS!!! (Patent pending). I love you so much bro, and I'm so happy to see the holy man you have become. Honestly, the way you love your family has shown me the best way to love my future family. Our kids will be chaotic saints (who perfect the hand-holding technique)!

Veronica and I met in high school, but our friendship really blossomed through our time spent doing ministry together the past few years. This girl is bold, hilarious, thoughtful and filled with the Holy Spirit. I wouldn't be who I am today without her authentic sisterhood! We were each others' anchors throughout our turbulent single years (LOL) and now we lean into each other as we prepare to be Brides! Our friendship is sweet (like pink moscato) and makes life more exciting (like Cuban cafecito)! Fun fact: she's the reason I even met John Mark in the first place. Ask her for the details... she's a great storyteller, and she had a front-row seat to the beautiful/crazy way that we met! I love you, V, and I'm so glad I get to do life with you!

THIS GUY.... I can't even begin to describe our brotherhood! I met Justin really early on in life. We had always been around each other, whether at retreats or just on the same running team, but our friendship really strengthened when we both followed our same passion for Jesus and became youth ministers! From jamming together at the 5 PM St. Thomas masses, to creating an online youth ministry experience for our kids during a pandemic, he's always there for me (and I for him)! I love you so much, my guy. I hope I can be as amazing a father as you are!

Oh Kyky, where do I even begin?! Kyra has been an anchor and true friend through the highs and lows of life for so many years, but it all began when we met during our time at Somerset Academy. Little did I know that this sweet girl in my homeroom class would become my prayer partner, trusted confidant and sister in Christ! After we graduated high school, the Lord brought us together through our devotion to serving teens in youth ministry. Now, I can’t imagine life without her! We have journeyed together through Magnify 90, engaged life, and soon married life! GAINS FOR GOD! Life gets hard sometimes, but it is a lot easier when you're surrounded by a band of brothers (like this guy). I met Adrian just two years ago, but it feels like we have been brothers forever. He walked with me through our Exodus 90 fast, throughout the entire engagement, and pushed me to better myself spiritually and physically. Thanks for helping me carry my cross during CrossFit, bro! Mariana and I met on our way to a high school retreat. We were young tots, completely unaware of the amazing ways that God would work in both of our lives in the years that followed! We met the loves of our lives (within a month of each other), went on countless Disney double dates, got engaged during a pandemic, and are now #honorable bridesmaids in each other's weddings! I truly can't imagine saying "I Do!" without her by my side. I love you, #HolyMari, and I can't wait to see all the goodness that married life will bring us! P.S. Isabella is my precious primita! Since the day she was born, I couldn't wait to be like a big sister to her. I remember turning 15 and being so excited to finally be able to drive, pick up Isa, have sleepovers and go on Starbucks dates with her and my sisters. Now we do all of these things, AND she's going to walk in my wedding as a junior bridesmaid! Christina, Lauren and I are so blessed to have #GirlCousins as sweet and beautiful as you and Gigi. I’ve known David since he was a young guy in a youth ministry program I was working with. I had the privilege of watching him grow into the amazing man he is today. He was actually the friend I leaned in to during my Emmaus Retreat. When he was on the retreat's leadership team, I could just see his passion for teaching other young men about God’s call to live courageously! Since then, I continue to see him have that zeal for souls and I am so proud. I have always been able to turn to this guy for prayer or just some good old fashioned bro moments!
