Scarlett and Wilfredo first met through a mutual friend back in 2001. Unfortunately life happened and we lost contact but continued to maintain a friendship. It wasn’t until 2018 (yup eighteen years later) when Will randomly messaged me through social media with a comment “your aging like fine wine”. I decided to give it a go and see where things could go as adults. After a few dates I knew the timing this time around was on our side.

During our yearly family holiday party Wilfredo reached out to his aunt and uncle to come up with a plan to propose to Scarlett. He knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and knew that would be the perfect day. Wilfredo knew how important family is to Scarlett and reached out to her younger sister for some help with making this day special for her. With the help of their family members they were both blindfolded from Scarlett's point of view. Once the plan was in place they removed Scarlett's blindfold and she let out an extremely loud scream and started crying as she seen Wilfredo down on one knee. He popped the question and she said YES. They ended the night celebrating with their families and taking shots of tequila. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
