Alex and Justin met during their first week of undergrad at UCLA. They became fast friends and enjoyed college life together. By junior year they were pretty inseparable and decided to make the leap from just friends to something more, and have been enjoying life side-by-side ever since!

At the end of Justin's first year in medical school they took a trip to Encinitas for Alex's birthday! On a sunny Monday afternoon, Justin took Alex to Ballast Point in Miramar for a beer flight and some food before going to Moonlight beach for an afternoon stroll. Little did Alex know that when they reached the lookout he would get down on one knee and pop the question! Alex enthusiastically said 'Yes!' and they enjoyed a weekend full of celebration.

After getting engaged, Alex and Justin instantly knew that they wanted to get married in San Diego their absolute favorite place in the world! Scripps Seaside Forum felt like the perfect venue as it overlooks the beach and sits next to the iconic Scripps Pier, with an outside lawn for the ceremony and an inside area for the reception. Guests will be treated to a stunning sunset, along with an open bar and a evening full of dancing!
