Allie

Matron of Honor

Allie is Rachel's older sister who taught Rachel all the beauty hacks in life. She taught her how to use makeup, how to curl her hair, and how to put together an outfit. They were very theatrical growing up, always putting on plays for the family together and filming elaborate music videos in the backyard. As they grew up, their shared interests transitioned reality TV shows and crafting. Allie is an amazing mother to her daughter Emmy (flower girl). If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: making elaborate crafts and baked goods, the real housewives of New York, and her abnormal obsession with Bigfoot.

Broderick

Best Man

Broderick and Brady met in college when they played for the Seattle U club water polo team together. They bonded quickly over a love of being active and being the best beer pong players at the party. In the years that followed, there have been many ski trips, Mariners games, life events, and workouts shared between the two. If you run into Broderick at the wedding, ask him about the time he met Michael Jordan, or the first call he ran as a firefighter.

Chelsea

Matron of Honor

Chelsea is Rachel’s oldest sister and who Rachel loved to copy. When Chelsea said her favorite color was purple, Rachel’s favorite color was purple. When Chelsea started riding horses, Rachel started riding horses. When Rachel was a baby, Chelsea was very protective over Rachel and would insist to hold her at all times. As they grew up, they have bonded over their love for being active and travel. Chelsea is an incredible mother to her daughter Anaya ( flower girl). If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: museums, what books she recommends based on your personality, and her unhealthy obsession with Indiana Jones.

Jackson

Best Man

Brady and Jackson first met in the third grade when Brady kicked a soccer ball in the schoolyard as hard as he could, and it hit Jackson in the side of the head while he was picking dandelions. Brady went to apologize and Jackson asked if he wanted to be his friend. After high school Jackson moved to LA for college where he lived until recently, but Brady and Jackson remained friends making a point to visit each other when free. Twenty years later, Brady is excited to have him by his side as he gets married. If you see Jackson at the wedding, ask him about his Letterboxd movie review catalogue, and his collection of Marvel figurines.

Jessie

Bridesmaid

Jessie is Rachel’s cousin who is 3 weeks older than her. Growing up, they were inseparable and would come up with many dances and performances for the parents to suffer through. Every year, Jessie and Rachel would get matching outfits as a tradition. To this day during the annual secret Santa, whenever they draw each other, they gift matching sweaters. If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: her killer ability to be organized, her hatred for California state income tax, and her love of hot peppers in India.

Josh

Groomsman

Josh is Brady's cousin on his Dad's side, and lives in Idaho with his wife Aubrey. Over the years Josh and Brady have spent a lot of time playing video games online together (especially during the Covid lockdown) and have stayed close despite living far apart because of that. If you see Josh at the wedding, ask him about his time living on submarines while in the Navy, or the most interesting thing he whipped up in the kitchen lately.

Megan

Bridesmaid

Megan and Rachel met at their first job out of college; the Management in Training Program at the JW and Ritz Carlton LA LIVE. They quickly bonded over the long hours, the crazy guest stories, and how much they have in common. They are both from Seattle, went to the same summer camp, and have the same hobbies. When COVID hit and the hotel shut down, they were sent to Santa Barbara to help a hotel there/live at the hotel together for the summer which was so fun! After that, Rachel moved to Seattle and a year later Megan followed and they became roommates! If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: yoga, good hiking spots, cheese (any kind of cheese, she loves cheese).

Chris

Groomsman

Chris and Brady met because as they like to say, "they had to" (Chris is Rachels brother in law). Despite this, Chris and Brady became fast friends bonding over a love for baseball, beer, and a newfound hobby in golf, getting golf rounds together whenever possible. If you run into Chris at the wedding, ask him about what golf club he is going to buy next, and his favorite book to read to his daughter Emmy.

Rachel

Bridesmaid

The Rachels met sophomore year of college when they lived across the street from each other. Rachel Hansen was living in the Delta Zeta house while Rachel Kirkland was living in the Tri Delta house. Throughout the college years, Rachel H. would come over to Rachel K.’s place for endless snacks and reality TV nights. After college, both Rachels moved to SoCal and were inseparable! Rachel H will have the special honor of being a bridesmaid in Rachel K's wedding this September If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: her love of deep cleaning, TLC shows, and the Jonas Brothers.

Sid

Groomsman

Sid (Rachel's other brother in law) and Brady met when Brady showed up to his first Hansen family gathering and Sid walked in shortly after with an armful of snacks he was excited to share with everyone. Since then, Brady has enjoyed spending time learning about what new thing Sid has learned and is excited to share with people while trying those snacks. If you see Sid at the wedding, ask him about his favorite dish to cook and about how going for long walks helps him to solve coding problems at work.

Sari

Bridesmaid

Sari and Rachel met a few weeks before freshman year of college at the Seattle freshman University of Denver meetup. They talked a little bit there, but Rachel thought Sari was too cool. They hung out a little during orientation, but their friendship really started when they joined the same sorority, Delta Zeta. Throughout college, they spent spring breaks, summer internships, and so many drunk/hungover weekends together. Rachel K, Austin, Sari, and Rachel H now make it a point to plan a girls trip every year to see each other. Rachel had the special honor to be a bridesmaid in Sari's wedding in November 2025. If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: restaurant recommendations, how amazing her wedding in Cabo was, and where she is traveling to next.

Travis

Groomsman

Travis and Brady met when Travis began to date Brady's sister Richelle. Since then, the two have bonded over everything sports, and how stubborn Richelle can be. Travis and Richelle have since had two kids, Karter and Raelynn, who Brady and Rachel both feel very grateful to be Aunt and Uncle to. If you see Travis at the wedding, ask him about what hunting season it is, or what he thinks the Seahawks chances are at a Super Bowl this year.

Austin

Bridesmaid

Austin and Rachel met the first day of orientation at University of Denver. After that first week, they became fast friends. Throughout 4 years of college, they attended each other’s sorority’s formals, went on many vacations together, and made many funny and (maybe not the best decisions but) amazing memories together! They continue making those memories on the annual girl’s trip they take every year! If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: honey mustard, travel, and how her name rhymes with where she is from (Boston).

Truman

Groomsman

Truman is Jackson's little brother, so the first time Brady and Truman met was when Brady went over to their house for the first time in elementary school. Brady spent so much time with their family growing up that Truman is the closest thing to a little brother that Brady has. If you see Truman at the wedding, you can talk to him about what new project he is working on with his 3D printer, and if it is going to be cooler than some of the nerf guns he used to modify in his parents basement growing up.

Richelle

Bridesmaid

Richelle is Brady’s older sister by 5 years. Rachel and Richelle bonded over embarrassing stories about Brady and Richelle giving advice on if Brady was ever annoying, how to annoy him back. Over the years, they’ve gotten closer over their love of animals (Richelle has 2 horses, 2 goats, 2 dogs, and 1 cat) and of course how to continue to bug Brady. Richelle is kind, witty, and an incredible mom to her son Karter (ring bearer) and Raelynn (honorary flower girl). If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: her many animals, how annoying her brother was growing up, and the Supernatural TV show.

Ian

Groomsman

Ian and Brady first met when Broderick, who was Ian's roommate at the time, left the house to go to the store while Brady and he were hanging out. Ian, upon coming home and seeing Brady in the living room by himself, just said "I am Ian, and I am going to bed, take whatever you want from the fridge just don't eat my eggs." They have been great friends ever since, being there for each other through many life events in the years they've known each other. If you run into Ian at the wedding, ask him about where his next triathlon is going to be, and what comedy specials he has seen lately.

Lauren

Bridesmaid

Lauren and Rachel became friends 4 years ago singing ABBA karaoke. Ever since then, their friendship has been full of ski trips, camping trips, and lots of laughs. When Rachel and Brady adopted their puppy Jane, Lauren’s dog Griffin took the big brother role and showed her the ropes. Lauren and Rachel spent last spring training for a half marathon together. Rachel was hesitant and might have complained while doing it, but Lauren kept her going. In June of 2024, they ran the half marathon together! If you see her at the wedding, conversation starters could include: her dog Griffin, dental hygiene, and how everyone from Michigan uses their hand to point to where they are from.
