Hood River is an hour drive from Portland. We recommend flying into PDX and renting a car to drive through the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Check out the things to do section for site seeing along the way!
Hood River does not have Uber or Lyft service, but there are a few local taxi services available for shorter trips around town. Downtown Hood River is very walkable and you can easily get around on foot, but you'll need a car to get here from Portland (about 60 miles) and to access activities, wineries, hikes, and other attractions in the area. Wedding day transportation: We'll be providing shuttle service between The Hampton Inn and The Lightwell Hotel to and from The Griffin House, as the venue has limited parking. Since it's a holiday weekend, we want everyone to celebrate safely without worrying about driving!
Please plan to arrive at 4:00 PM to allow plenty of time to get settled and seated before the ceremony begins. Transportation will be provided via shuttles, as parking at the venue is extremely limited and cars cannot be left overnight.

Black tie optional! We'd love to see everyone dress up with us. Think floor-length dresses, tuxedos, or suits in black or navy. Note: The Gorge is known for its wind! Plan your hairstyle and outfit accordingly. Bridesmaids will be wearing shades of blue & green.

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
