The first time Kayla and Daniel saw each other was at a gym one summer night. They met through mutual friends and then went their separate ways. A few weeks later, Daniel had a basketball game with one of the friends from the original night. Unknown to Kayla, Daniel asked the mutual friend to tell Kayla to come to the game. After Daniel played his heart out trying to impress Kayla, they all went out to grab food and hung out talking for hours. On the couples first trip to San Diego, they went around seeing the sites with some friends. As the sun began to set, they went to a beautiful attraction named Sunset Cliffs. After taking pictures, Kayla was cold from the wind and was headed back up the cliff to the car. Daniel grabbed her hand and went down on one knee. Kayla immediately started laughing and smiling and waiting for Daniel to finish his speech. When he was done, Kayla gave and resounding "Yes."
