What is the dress code?

We kindly ask guests to dress in Black Tie Optional attire for our wedding at the East Wind Hotel. Please no casualwear—this is a special night, and we can’t wait to celebrate in style with you!

What does "black tie optional" mean?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress up with us! Black Tie Optional means a tuxedo or formal dark suit is welcome for men. For women, a floor-length gown or a formal cocktail dress is perfect. Think classic, sophisticated, and ready to celebrate!

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

As a courtesy to the bride, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white or ivory. Our wedding party will be wearing light and dark blues, and we’d love for guests to choose other shades if possible, to help our amazing crew stand out. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with the loved ones who’ve supported us on this journey! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your RSVP page. If you’ve been given a plus one, their name will appear when you search your own name—or theirs—to RSVP. Thank you for understanding—we can’t wait to see you!

Are kids welcome?

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! To help keep the day relaxing and enjoyable for everyone, we’re having an adults-only celebration. If your invitation included a little one, they’re warmly invited to join. Otherwise, we kindly ask guests to plan for a kid-free evening so everyone can fully enjoy the celebration. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, absolutely! We’ll be serving premium liquor, bottled beer, wine, and champagne—on us. Non-alcoholic options will be available too. The drinks are on us, but the hangover’s on you! Please note: no shots allowed.

When do I have to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by Friday, February 27, 2026. Due to venue and catering requirements, anyone who hasn’t RSVP’d by then unfortunately can’t be accommodated. Thank you for understanding!

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We’re working with a firm headcount for our caterers and vendors, so if we don’t receive your RSVP by the deadline, we’ll need to assume you won’t be able to attend. We really appreciate your understanding as we finalize all the details for the big day!

What time do I have to be there?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM at the East Wind Hotel. Please arrive by 5:00 PM to allow time to park, find your seat, and get settled—we want everyone there before the big moment begins!

Where do I Park?

Answer

Please park in the main parking lot of the East Wind Hotel—it’s the most convenient option for all wedding events. After the ceremony, join us for cocktail hour and the reception located inside the main hotel building. No need to move your car—everything will be happening right there!

Where is the ceremony going to take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at: East Wind Hotel 5720 NY-25A Wading River, NY 11933 No need to travel between venues—once you arrive, everything will be in one place so you can relax and celebrate with us!

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll move things inside—either way, it's going to be beautiful, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

The first two rows on each side will be reserved for immediate family. All other seats are open! We kindly ask that you fill in from front to back so everyone can enjoy a great view.
