We are so excited to have found the perfect venue, Bascom Lodge, at the top of Mt Greylock in Adams, MA.
Danielle interned in North Adams at Mass MoCA after college and never got to hike Mt Greylock during her time there. Mt Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts. She and Terry spend a lot of time hiking and exploring, so the venue only seemed fitting for the wedding when they stumbled upon it after hiking up Mt Greylock shortly after getting engaged.
We decided to hold our ceremony and reception with our immediate family and very close friends. We wanted to keep it small and intimate. Thank you for understanding!
Yes, we are registered at Target, Amazon, and Zola. Zola hosts all the registries online for us. Check the link here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/meetthecrockers2022/registry
There is parking, technically this is a state park, so there is a small fee to park. If you plan to drive yourself, bring cash. Otherwise, we will also be shuttling from Hotel Downstreet. Or you can hike if you’re feeling ambitious 😉 jk
Please arrive 30 min before so you can walk to the meadow where the ceremony is held and find a seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 5 pm.
We would love guests to wear “garden party attire.” We suggest to not wear heels as the ceremony is in a meadow. Though the wedding is in August, please keep in mind that we will be at the highest elevation in MA so it will be cooler and a bit breezy. Please see the tab on this site titled “hotels.”
Please do! Let us know at least a month prior so we can plan accordingly.
No, we will provide beer and wine for guests. There is no hard liquor allowed because it is a state park. We will all be asked to leave the park if anyone has brought their own beer, wine, or hard liquor and the violator will be fined.
Because of the small venue and size of the wedding, we ask that you find a sitter for the night.
The invitation will indicate the name of the guests and if we have budgeted for a spouse or date to attend with you. Thank you for understanding!
