What kind of event will this be?

Answer

It's a party! We want to celebrate our wedding with all of our friends and family with a really fun afternoon/evening of music, dancing, drinking, and laughing. We picked this venue because its exactly the kind of vibe we want for our celebration: laid back, casual, and fun.

If there's no ceremony, when should I arrive?

Answer

While the event officially starts at 4, anyone who would like to arrive early is more than welcome to arrive as early as 3:30pm. Food and drinks will be available at this time and music will be playing. We plan to start with our make-up traditional dances at 4:30 and then the dance floor will be open for all to enjoy! Our reception officially ends at 7, but guests 21 and up are welcome to stay until the bar closes at 2am. For anyone interested, there will be free professional dance lessons starting at 7:30pm. We have personally participated in these lessons in the past and they are super fun!

What food will be served?

Answer

We will have some appetizer/bar food. Mozzarella sticks, beef and chicken quesadillas, and chips & queso. Alcohol will be provided (excluding ultra premiums and champagne)

What if I don't know how to formally dance?

Answer

That's not a problem! we will have a mix of music that covers a wide range from freestyle party dancing to two-stepping and waltzes to line dances. Don't know any line dances? That's not a problem either! There will be enough people that know the dances that anyone should be able to join in and dance along!
