What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see all of our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We politely request no jeans. Please reserve the following colors white, cream or terra-cotta orange for the bride and her special guest.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30. We request all guest be seated by 3:20.

Where should I park?

Answer

Ceremony- There will be parking on the side of the greenhouse. The road to the green house will be lined. Cocktail hour/reception- There is parking in the back lot of Oak Shade Grove. Please enter at the Black Forest Cafe entrance to the far left.

What is the phone equitette at the ceremony?

Answer

Please make sure phones are on silent durning the ceremony. Sorry, we know it's football season, the only game you can watch durning the ceremony is the Michigan game with the volume down ;) Please feel free to take pictures durning the ceremony BUT respecting the photographer and not getting in their way. There will times we will request no pictures.

What are the dinner options?

Answer

There will be cocktail hour with small snacks. For the reception dinner will be Buffett style Prime Rib (au jus, horseradish and horseradish sauce), baked chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad and rolls.

What are the bar options?

Answer

It will be an open bar. There will be beer, wine, liquor , seltzers and mixers. No shots will be served. Signature drinks- COX-tail- Jack and coke VARG-a-rita- margarita Let's drink and have fun but be respectful and responsible. Lyft and Uber are options from the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guest formally on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will be on your RSVP. Thanks for understanding.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love the littles! However, we have decided to have an adult only reception (18 and older) with exception to a few immediate family members. We encourage you to use this as a date night and enjoy.

Will the events be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both events will take place inside.

Photographer Rules

Answer

Please do not ask the photographer to take pictures of you or your family. We want all their focus to be on the events and not to miss anything we are unable to see. Do not get in their way. Their view is priority to us. These pictures are very precious and important to us.
