Like all modern love stories we met on a dating app, lol! Neither one of us were looking for anything and we both were very cordial at first. (Cherry's POV): One night she texted and said she wasn't feeling well, so i set her an alarm for a nap, we played iMessage games the rest of the night!

I had planned on proposing on the 12th of May at a concert, but like I do I messed it up when i locked us out of my then house I was staying in! I tried again on our dating anniversary of 23rd of June when we went to CLT, but the vibe wasn't right and I didn't want to spoil a chill day! So a week later I worked up the courage after scoping some places out, and in typical Cherry fashion, i chose a park I thought was the Greensboro Arboretum, but ended up just being a regular place. I tell her let's go for a walk and I made an excuse to come back to one of the gazebos where i popped the question!
